Married to The Devil ~ 13 Signs of Yoking With Demons
There’s a special type of intimacy that is forged when we yoke with God. It reaches beyond the boundaries of this human world, and no other relationship will produce the same oneness of being. What exactly is a yoke?
The physical term refers to a wooden frame placed over the necks of working animals to plow; however, the Bible metaphorically uses this word to symbolize a spiritual partnership between us and God.
“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” —Matthew 11:28-30 NKJV
In the old world, the yoke of a teacher referred to his/her specific teachings and ways of life. When Jesus encourages us to take His yoke, He is saying that the way with Him is not heavy, rather light and restful. When we join with the Holy Spirit of God, the bond produces “the Fruit of the Spirit,” which the Bible lists as: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. However, when we yoke with unclean spirits, the bond becomes bond-age, resulting in heavy plowing of both the physical and spiritual worlds.
Of course, I realize that one could subjectively view any “marriage” between a human and a spirit as “all the same.” Who’s to say which spirit is truly that of God? Afterall, many of us have different views on “spirit,” or about what/who God is. Regardless of where you stand on this subject, I want you to visualize the act of choosing to become one with a spiritual entity for a moment. Imagine submitting yourself over to an unseen force, inviting it to fill you up entirely… invoking it to materialize in your life in various ways… asking it to guide you, teach you, shape you, cover you, and to ultimately become the master that you serve…
You see, we can actually determine which God is the One true God by observing the fruit of the yoke. These relationship commitments are not all the same, and the people who enter into them are not all the same. If you think they are, you haven’t met God yet. Those who have yoked with the One true living God can easily discern counterfeit spirits that masquerade as good or godly because we can’t be deceived by them. This is not a human quality that we possess, rather it’s an advantage of yoking with God. His Spirit gives us HIS attributes, just like an unclean spirit gives us ITS attributes. Demons specialize in deception, so those who have invited these spirits to dwell within them believe they are operating from a place of light. But is it… light? What does the yoke of a demon feel like when bound around the neck?
–> If you engage in spiritual practices, ceremonies, and rituals that call upon names other than Jesus, who do you believe is coming forth to inhabit you?
–> If you visit a spiritual practitioner who offers you their services, who do you think is being conjured to show up at their gatherings?
–> If you are a spiritual practitioner, who exactly have you invited to live within you? Are you sure you know beyond a shadow of a doubt with what or whom you have allowed yourself to yoke?
To everyone: I urge you to see beyond the faces of these spiritual humans and peer deeper into their souls. If you look closely, you can see the truth that dwells within the depths because darkness can’t hide all of itself. God hard-wired us with the ability to detect lies because, regardless of beliefs, we were made in the image of a good and righteous God. Even those who have not yet accepted the Holy Spirit were knitted together by God Himself. Truly, our entire being yearns to be united with our Maker, whether our human choices have caught up to this yet.
To see deception, we must only be willing to confront it. So, I say, when presented with spiritual humans, test what’s inside of them. Allow yourself to notice the cracks in their ideology… the gaps in their beliefs… the instability in their foundation… Do you recognize the human who is enslaved beneath the heavy yoke of the master they serve?
According to my research on hundreds of accounts and personal testimony stories, here are…
13 signs that a person has yoked with a demon:
1. The only God they will openly reject is the God of Christianity, while showing tolerance, support, or respect toward all other religions or beliefs.
2. They will rarely ever display self-control if they have given themselves over to a spirit that controls them. This includes physical demonic manifestations of the body—convulsing or speaking non-human vernacular—or saying/doing things that seem highly “out of character.”
3. They may believe they are god. Not only as the energy of “god within,” but as having ascended beyond regular humans to achieve god-like wisdom, god-like powers, and god-like status. They see themselves as linear to all other spiritual “teachers,” like Jesus or Gandhi, for example. However, the fruit of their spirit will always contradict the Biblical Jesus.
4. They will be obsessed with spirituality, usually leaving/escaping earth through various modalities of altered states of consciousness— sleeping extra hours to dream, meditation rituals, yoga (which literally means yoke), tea/celestial/breathing/sound ceremonies, drug-induced trances, etc. Some will simply escape with worldly frivolities such as p*rn, alcohol, gambling, drugs, or materialism. Their 3D life will become strained because they are rarely “here.”
5. They will be addicted to the mission of gathering others to join them, often devoting their entire lives and careers to counterfeit spirituality practices or unclean “healing” rituals. This includes corruption in Christian churches where pastors distort and misrepresent Biblical scripture, or build their ministry on paid demonic deliverance rituals, urging believers to continue undergoing deliverance (exorcisms) to “ensure” they can’t be demonically possessed.
6. They will come off as arrogant or narcissistic, while simultaneously displaying extreme insecurities with themselves. True humility will almost never be present.
7. They will exhibit emotional upset, anger, or irritability when hearing the name of Jesus or God.
8. They will conjure fore knowledge, false healings, and believe they are chosen/anointed.
9. They will give power to, or worship things the Creator made, but never the Creator.
10. They are often argumentative in conversation and struggle with emotional regulation.
11. They are typically scattered in nature, resonating undertones of instability, erratic decision making, and foggy thinking.
12. They will struggle with communication and cohesion with others, often leading to isolation, living with irrational fears, or clinging to the belief that they are “too different to be understood.”
13. They will never be able to fully and clearly explain their own beliefs when questioned because unclean spirits produce confusion, chaos, and complete lies. Because of this, their self-identity will always be fractured.
These signs are easy to spot because there is often a struggle within the soul when we yoke with demons. Some days, the demons will seemingly “empower” us with their attributes, and other days they hurt or abandon us. Many find themselves descending into the pits of self-denial to battle mental unwellness and even imposter syndrome. An unclean yoking casts a devastating shadow over a person’s true identity, causing them to drift down a false life path, never knowing their authentic, God-created self. This is what Christians call demonic oppression and/or spiritual warfare.
But take heart! There are thousands of testimonies from people who have chosen to un-yoke with demons and break the bond-age. Just like any “bad” marriage, the relationship usually takes a turn for the worst. In these cases, the spirits quite literally “turned on” the human. Testimonies describe how, in the beginning, the spirits provided them with success, money, status, prophetic knowledge, healing, and comfort, but then these things were taken away. Everything that once felt like love and light became hatred and darkness. This is because demons don’t care about humans. They manipulate us, exploit us, and use us… and if you look closely, you can see them all over a person.
“Standfast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.” —Galatians 5:1 NKJV
A human choosing to yoke with a spiritual entity is a serious commitment. It’s binding. It’s a marriage. Some refer to it as a “spiritual contract.” So, before you go opening yourself up to whatever and whomever is eager to meet you at the altar and carry you over the threshold, be sure you know exactly who you want to spend the rest of your life with.
