Linking Biblical Scriptures and Concepts
Scripture:
“If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat; if he is thirsty, give him water to drink. In doing this, you will heap coals of fire upon his head and the Lord will reward you.”—Proverbs 25:21-22
“For the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God.” —James 1:20
“For we wrestle, not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”—Ephesians 6:12
Application:
Love is what snuffs out evil.
Anger toward humans is pointless, because evil humans are afflicted with demonic spirits.
Understanding these verses together help us to exhibit kindness toward others, calm our own Spirit within, and help us to practice forgiveness and compassion toward those who are afflicted.
The greatest of all demon slayers are not “fighters,” but lovers. Love is the only weapon against darkness because evil cannot withstand it; always remember this. The truth is that human beings are simply vessels… We’re either carrying light within us, or darkness. The more we learn to release our anger toward others, the stronger our own light shines forth, neutralizing enemy threats, and restoring peace in humanity. Amen.
