More of Him

“Look for the answers within” is a vague statement…

Looking within yourself when the Holy Spirit is NOT present in you means you’re going to find more of you—

So, things like pain, guilt, anger, trauma, fear, and confusion.

What great answers will you find in all that?

Looking within yourself when the Holy Spirit IS present in you means you’re going to find more of God—

So, answers of divine wisdom, supernatural guidance, and discerning explanations.

2 people looking within themselves—one without God and one with God—are going to find vastly different things.

Many religions and new age ideologies heavily push the concept of looking within, yet fail to recognize that what’s in us without the presence of God is simply a reflection of our human selves.

Looking within for profound truth is a useless task if there’s nothing in there but worldly brokenness.

In fact, exploring all that pain without the Great Physician healing us as we go will never deliver the answers we’re looking for.

However, walking a personal path with Christ and accepting Him into our hearts shows us the image of God; therefore, produces a reflection of Him within us.

What we need is LESS of us, and MORE of Him!

When we study scripture and come into communion with God, the Holy Spirit provides the answers we seek.

“The secret” to unlocking these revelations is not found within us, but found within God…

Whether or not God is within you makes all the difference.
